{ F21 top, belt, hat, & rings | Target skirt | Steve Madden wedges | gifted clutch }

You would think a black maxi-skirt would be a no-brainer in terms of styling, but it actually required more brain power than I had originally planned on using. I'm not sure if it's because of the material or the fact that I feel it clinging to all the wrong places, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

You may be thinking, "why did you buy it then?" Well folks, when Target offers you 75% off an already marked-down price on something, you just can't say no. Believe me, I tried.

  1. You look so awesome! I am really glad I'm not the only person who wasn't able to style a neutral-colored maxi skirt. I found this awesome-on-the-hanger white skirt for $10 last week, and I really, really wanted it. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out what I would wear with it, and it was slightly stained on the bottom so I managed to talk myself out of it.

  2. I fall for the sales as well lol.

  5. Looks like it's clinging to all the right places to me! (Was I the first person to hit on you today? Probably not.) Happy Monday, Rachel! :)

  6. Haha target is a tease sometimes. I love this outfit, and I'm totally jealous it's warm enough to wear something like that outside.
