My July 4th weekend was spent on Lake Winnipesaukee up in New Hampshire, and I was so happy to be back after visiting exactly a year ago! I feel like Independence Day is always made a tiny bit more special when I'm at the lake. Unfortunately, we were caught in the middle of Hurricane Arthur on July 4th, and it literally rained ALL DAY. Determined not to let the weather get us down, me, Matthew, and his mom went into town to have lunch and browse some local shops just for the heck of it. I ate my first ever lobster roll and during our last shop stop, we randomly met Jimmy Fallon! How crazy is that?! So even though we didn't get to enjoy the holiday the way we wanted, it wasn't a complete loss! ;)

These photos were taken the day after, when the rain left and the sunshine finally came out. It was pretty windy out, but I had such a nice time enjoying the weather, company, and food (so much food). There really is no place like the lake!
