So I originally wanted to take these photos in front of my parents' neighbors' adorable yellow house for a fun backdrop, but then these deer randomly came out of nowhere and I thought, I have to take advantage of this. I did my best to quietly creep over to the road in front of where they were crossing, and we actually managed to get a couple shots with them behind me. Then I made the mistake of looking back to see if they were still there (see photo #5), made awkward straight-on eye contact with this huge herd of deer, and scared them off. Of course. And that's my short story of how I tried & failed to make deer part of my outfit photos, haha.

I guess I should also write a little something about what I wore, huh? I know it probably doesn't look like anything spectacular, but lately I've been really drawn to outfits with minimalist styling. Putting basic pieces together can really make an outfit look carefree yet still practical at the same time. Sometimes simple is just better, ya know? What do you think?

Outfit details:
F21 striped boxy tee
F21 chambray skirt (similar)
American Eagle wedges (super old)
