One of my favorite parts about thrifting is that the rule of "sticking to your size" is basically thrown out the window. That and everything is dirt cheap, of course. I found this plaid shirt in the little boys section at my local thrift store, and it was the perfect fit! Sure it's a size XL and the sleeves don't exactly reach my wrists, but hey, it works. I mean, a plaid shirt for fall + it's only $2 + it's cozy = I should probably buy this. It just makes perfect sense, y'all.

I actually wore this outfit right before a major cold front hit Austin yesterday. I was not prepared for 35 degree weather after weeks of glorious 70 degree temperatures. My gloves and beanies and scarves are hidden somewhere at my parents' house, so I'm just sitting here freezing to death. And yet, I've been wishing for this weather since fall started, so can I really complain? Apparently, yes.
