If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I have been caught in a frozen tundra for the past week up in Massachusetts. Everyone thought I was crazy when I said I was heading to the northeast during the crazy snowstorms they've been getting lately, but I had bought the plane tickets for cheap back in November, so there was no way I was backing out.

I have visited New England during the winter before, so I'm no stranger to the snow and cold weather, but wow. This winter was intense. I couldn't believe the amount of snow that had piled up (and continued to...) along the streets and how physically painful the wind chill became. Needless to say, I stayed indoors the majority of the time. At least it gave me an excuse to binge-watch my favorite TV shows, so no complaints here!

Edit: This also just happens to be the outfit I wore for Valentine's Day this year. The red scarf & lipstick was my best shot at looking as festive as I could, ha!

Outfit details:
thrifted sweater
Target tights
DSW boots (gift)
Target leg warmers
F21 beanie
Bath & Body Works scarf
borrowed coat
