I think we all have those couple pieces in our closet that we save specifically for this time of year. For me, it's this top which is perfect to dress up or down (as shown above) for either Christmas parties or NYE. During the the month of December, I struggle with wanting to look cute in my holiday best but at the same time not wanting to wear anything other than leggings (especially when it's cold out & jeans just don't cut it); I've recently settled on some happy medium where I still get to wear leggings, but the rest of me looks like I actually tried. A sparkly top, festive earrings, and shoes that aren't my fuzzy slippers are my way of showing my holiday spirit. It's a slightly lazy holiday spirit, but I promise it's there. I mean, I put on red lipstick and earrings that look like Christmas bows (even though they weigh my ears down) with a top that definitely itches every time I move--if that doesn't show y'all I care then idk what will.

What about you? Do you go all out glam, tacky Christmas sweater, or sweatpants galore for the holidays?

Outfit details:
H&M gold sequin top (old, similar)
Free People leggings (I have been LIVING in these, I swear)
Sam Edelman black boots
Francesca's bow earrings
Clutch was a gift
