If I could write a book strictly about my wardrobe, one of the chapters would be: “Clothes that looked good on me in the dressing room but once I took them home, not so much.” I blame those stores with their tricky lighting techniques. It happens way too often, like to the point where I think I should write a complaint letter about it, haha.
This dress looked perfectly fine when I first tried it on before buying, then one day I wanted to wear it out and suddenly noticed just how sheer it was! It should have had a warning on the tag, warning: do not wear fun-colored underwear with this dress. I was slightly annoyed, but I liked the style of the dress so much that instead of returning it, I just caved and bought a slip for underneath (that and a ton of nude-colored underwear). Lesson learned (well, probably not, but here’s hopin’).
