Southern Bell Sleeves

Sponsored by Zappos

Y’all, I am tackling two trends in one post for this outfit & I feel really cool about it, tbh. One of which, backless loafers, I thought were NOT CUTE when I first saw them. And the other, bell sleeves, I was all about as soon as I saw them grace the presence of my insta feed. Eventually I came to my senses about backless loafers, and now I love them too! They’re surprisingly comfier than I thought they would be; like, even more comfortable than normal flats in my opinion. As for the sleeves: they are fun to swing around and make me feel like a wizard, and if that doesn’t scream HIGH FASHION then idk what does.

On another note, does anyone remember back in like 2012 when big totes were all the rage? Now carrying one feels like such a hassle. I now prefer to keep only the essentials on me: phone, wallet, small snack (always an essential), that’s it. All these items conveniently fit in my new Dooney & Bourke pouch which I’ve been taking everywhere with me lately! I love its classic style that can be used for both day & night wear, and the fringe tassle adds a nice little detail. What kinda bag lady are you these days? Clutch, tote, backpack, crossbody, fanny pack? Let me know!
