How to make an outfit post more interesting: put a dog in your photos. Unfortunately this sweet girl is not my dog, but I love her just the same! Back in December 2016 I saw a post from a girl on one of the local Austin Facebook groups I’m apart of asking if anyone could look after her corgi–I couldn’t type “MEEEEEEE” fast enough! Here she is from my December recap post back then. I asked her owner again this year if I could watch Henry (yes, that’s her name) again while they were out for the holidays & long story short here she is taking outfit pics with me. Y’all don’t even need to acknowledge the outfit, just look at Henry & admire her cuteness. Go on, it’s fine.
If you’re still reading, you must want to know a little bit about my outfit, right? I got a lot of compliments on these mules (or do you just call them backless loafers??) from the last post I wore them; to be honest when I first saw them I had a feeling I wouldn’t get much wear from them since I’m not really a flats kinda girl, but they are strangely SUPER comfortable! I love how the style can easily transcend from casual wear to work wear, the tan color pairs well with pretty much everything in my closet, and the bow detail makes it slightly more interesting than if they came without it. They’ll definitely be getting a lot more wear when the temperatures warm up again! Which I hope is soon because omg I was not made for weather below 50 degrees. Send help.
